A child is a total person, designed by God to be well-rounded, maturing in every dimension “to the fullness of Christ,” Ephesians 4:13.  On the basis of this long range goal for every person, the philosophy of the Hilltop Christian Nursery School is founded in Christ’s own pattern of developmental growth as recorded in Luke 2:52, “and Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.”
Christ, himself developed mentally (in wisdom), physically (in stature), spiritually (in favor with God), and socially (in favor with men) according to his own needs.

We believe that the experience of each child should be consistent with his or her individual stage of development and, therefore, learning should be achieved in a way that is comfortable and natural for him or her.  This can be reinforced with Godly principles through daily experiences.
